Preparing for a Children’s Hearing

Training Time: 90 minutes

Module 1 includes a powerpoint training presentation with a voice over. Please open the powerpoint and go to slideshow and play ‘From Beginning’. Make sure the ‘Play Narrations’ check box is selected. A voice over should play with the slides. 

This online module is to start you thinking about cases at the Children’s Hearing – specifically about:

1) when a Children’s Hearing should happen

2) the recommendations you make to a Children’s Hearing and the reasons you give for those recommendations

3) how you gather the views of children coming to the Children’s Hearing

4) how you present the views of children at the Children’s Hearing
